For as long as she can remember, Bec has been looking at the world through a lens, intrigued by her surroundings.“I was constantly in my head, framing a scene in my mind’s eye.” As a teenager she was fascinated by the darkroom at school, “It was the only thing I was good at!” Bec says. Captivated by the photography process, Bec begged her art teacher to mentor her through the intricacies of the craft. “I spent a lot of time there - many hours!” Bec confesses. Ultimately Bec went on to study photography at Sydney College of the Arts and become a professional photographer. Nearly 15 years later she hasn’t looked back.
Now filling her days photographing children, families, products and lifestyle content in studio and lust-worthy locations all over the world, Bec is never happier than when she is behind the lens. She finds joy in travel, making connections with people and places and bringing them to life with light and laughter. Oh, and she’ll never say no to a destination wedding!
